I hereby take this pledge to commit myself to being an active agent in society, who will reduce the prevalence of Gender-Based Violence through my actions:

I know that violence is not only physical, it can also be emotional, verbal, psychological, financial and I vow not to condone or commit any act of harassment, discrimination, assualt or abuse in any form, directly or indirectly.  

I understand that #MySilence allows for #GBV to occur, therefore I refuse to remain silent or complacent about issues of Gender Based Violence, I know #MyVoice makes a difference.

I am willing to listen without judgement and offer advice or referrals to anyone affected wherever I can, letting them know they are not alone.

I will model positive behavioural attributes to raise our #sons, #daughters and #youth in a climate of #equality. #SaveOurChildren

I will actively promote practices of #GenderEquality in my place of work, free from intimidation and fear.

I know that there is #NoExcuse for abuse.
